Meet the Band
Ace Lopes.....Drums/ Musical Director

Shakespeare? 80's rock? Hells yeah!!! Rock n' Roll baby!
I have the privilege once again to be playing with some of the best musicians I know and some of my best friends! I've been in bands with all the guys in this band at one point or another and I'm thrilled that they all agreed to join me on this new adventure. Been playing drums for 36 years and doing live shows for 27 years. Maybe I'll get it right one day!
Thanks guys...can't wait to once again kick it live!

Spiro K.....Guitar / Bass

Spiro is honored to be working with the Montreal Shakespeare Theatre Company. A musician, music producer, teacher and actor, Spiro is no stranger to the stage. He is thrilled for the opportunity to work alongside such a talented ensemble and is very much looking forward to taking part in the production of "The Comedy of Errors".
Gerry McDonough.....Guitar / Bass

With over 25 years of playing guitar in various bands, I now have the opportunity and privilege of playing alongside old friends and new in the Montreal Shakespeare Theatre Company's production of “The Comedy of Errors”. This will be a new venture, which I am excited to be a part of. I am looking forward to working with a very talented group of artists and cannot wait to hit the stage.
Scott O'Flaherty.....Guitar / Bass

Scott was thrilled to be asked to work on such a fantastic project with the Montreal Shakespeare Theatre Company. Stepping into new ground has always been a fascination and this project is one like no other. Scott has played guitar with many bands over the past three decades including live shows for cover bands as well as original music. Scott has released two CDs and reached #3 in the charts in New Brunswick and #1 in Eastern Ontario with his band “East of 9”.
Mark Tkaczyk.....Keyboards

Mark has been in the music scene for 30 years and after hearing about the opportunity to be part of the show I must say that I was happy to be asked to play along side some awesome actors and musicians who are part of the Shakespeare ensemble. My 30 some odd years consisted of cover bands to original bands. My current band who I have been with for 4 years "Fridays Heroes" have released our first cd of which a few songs have been in the top 5 with one of them hitting the #1 in the top 40 and currently still being played out in Western Canada. But our biggest fans are out in Europe, Asia and Australia and now we are currently working on our second cd. I have played alongside Ace Lopes for almost 10 years on and off with different ensembles so playing alongside the cast of The Montreal Shakespeare Theatre Company will be an honor.
