Meet the crew of
Julius Caesar
Ace Lopes.....Executive Producer
Ace is the M.S.T.C.'s Executive Producer and co-founder. In its 13 year history the company has performed a total of 42 different plays (including school tours), performed over 700 shows for over 150,000 people, and has employed over 350 actors, and there is no end in sight! Having studied Julius Caesar in High School and produced it for one of the M.S.T.C. school tours, Ace is very happy to be doing this show again! Conspiracies, political intrigue and ancient history are right up his alley and he can't wait to show you all what a great and talented cast can bring to the table! "This show will blow people away!"
Welcome to Rome....
Welcome to Rome....
Aaron George.....Co-Director
I'm very proud to say I helped found the M.S.T.C. in 2001 and have been the Artistic director ever since. My past Shakespearean directing credits include: King Lear, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth. The Comedy of Errors, Twelfth Night, Hamlet, Taming of the Shrew, The Tempest, Merchant of Venice, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Othello and Titus Andronicus. I hope you enjoy this passionate trip back to ancient Rome with me.
After seeing such amazing and vibrant performances the last three years with the M.S.T.C. Summer Series, I'm beyond thrilled to be joining this amazingly talented group on stage. I can't wait to roll up my sleeves and get dirty with this amazing story.
Big thanks to Ace, Christopher and Jane for taking this journey with me. Much love to my wife Niki and my wonderful son Jackson. They are the best thing that's ever happened to me. And yes I know how to write a proper bio, I just want this bio to be from the heart as I hope this play and my performance will be. Enjoy the show.

Christopher Moore.....Co-Director
Christopher is in his second year as Artsitic Director for Persephone Productions. A graduate of John Abbott College's Professional Theatre Program, Christopher has been working in Montreal as an actor and director. Acting credits include: Titus in Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus (M.S.T.C.), Benjamin in The Graduate (HVT), Hamlet in Shakespeare's Hamlet (Persephone Productions) and Max in Martin Sherman's Bent (Altera Vitae). Directing credits include Spring Awakening: The Musical for Persephone Productions and Bard Fiction for Beyond the Mountain Productions.
Jane Needles.....Co-Director
Jane Needles’ wide experience in the arts covers all disciplines of the cultural world. Born into a well-known theatre family, she was trained from a very early age by working hands-on in almost every aspect of production and mounting shows and considers herself very lucky to have been taught in this fashion. This opportunity to take on a new role in her career is very exciting and she brings to it her long involvement with Shakespeare and the Stratford Festival, as from a very young age, the Shakespearean language became as familiar to her as English and French. Directing is a privilege she is very humbled to have been given and she looks forward to working with M.S.T.C., Aaron and Chris and all the young and very talented members of the cast and creation team.
Morgandy McKinnell.....Stage Manager
Morgandy discovered an unexpected passion for Stage Management during her second year in Dawson College's Professional Theatre Program and has been pursuing this new career path ever since. This is her first time working with M.S.T.C. and she feels very fortunate to have this opportunity to work on one of her favourite Shakespeare plays with such an interesting and dynamic cast and crew.
